LSU & GoFor: Exchange programme
Join our exchange program between Turkish and Swedish youth on Environmental Sustainability and Justice – Phase II.
Organised by the Youth Organisations Forum (GoFor) and the National Council of Swedish Children and Youth Organisations (LSU), this exchange programme aims to bring together 12 youth rights advocates from Türkiye and Sweden to explore the intersections of climate adaptation, social justice, and youth rights.
This year’s programme builds on the success of the first phase held in 2024, which resulted in a jointly developed policy paper presented at COP29. In 2025, we shift our focus to climate adaptation—the main theme of COP30—and ask:
How can adaptation policies truly protect young people and ensure intergenerational justice?
Throughout this five-day programme, participants will take part in:
- Interactive workshops on climate adaptation, climate justice, and youth activism
- Collaborative sessions to co-develop youth-centred policy proposals for COP30
- Discussions with experts and practitioners
- Cultural exchange and networking activities with peers from both countries
All costs will be covered – including accommodation, flights, local transportation, and meals – by GoFor and LSU.
The programme will take place in Stockholm from 20 to 25 October 2025.
The working language of the programme will be English. As both Türkiye and Sweden will use a single joint application form and the programme activities will be conducted in English, the application form is also provided in English. You do not need to have perfect English – it’s enough to express your ideas clearly and understandably.
Ready to co-create a fairer, youth-centred climate future?
Fill out the application form below by August 15th and tell us why you’d like to be part of this programme! We can’t wait to meet you in Stockholm!
