The world has experienced some tumultuous years with a global pandemic and armed conflicts. This has created many challenges for the youth movement concerning the possibility to engage and participate in society. These topics are on the agenda in the several upcoming national elections this year in Sweden and in our partner countries in Lebanon, the Philippines and Kenya.
The participation of young people in elections is vital. It says a lot about the challenges youth are facing and the trust they have towards societal institutions.
This webinar is about the status of youth participation in the upcoming national elections. What trends can we see? How has the pandemic impacted youth participation in society in the different contexts? How can we work to ensure the participation of all youth in the elections and maintain a high level of participation?
Join us on wednesday the 20th april 10.00 CET to discuss these questions!
